Renewable Energy Sources & Grid Integration

Global warming and definitive exhaustion of fossil fuels in the near future is reducing the carrying capacity of the earth as a result of the depletion of the ozone layer. The time to reach the threshold limit of atmospheric CO2 is not very far. More than 50% of the total energy consumption is in the power generation sector. Renewable/alternate (Green) energy sources like hydro, biomass, geothermal, ocean wave, wind and solar can generate enough power to replace power generated from fossil for sustainability of life on this planet thus meeting the needs of the present generation without compromising the ability of future generations to meet its own needs. Today, we can see with our own eyes what global warming is doing, unless we stop dumping tons of global warming pollution into the atmosphere every 24 hours, which we are doing right now; the continued acceleration of this pollution would destroy the future of human civilization.
